Backyard Cookout

We decided to buy a small fire pit to have some fun this summer. So when Cassie came to visit over Memorial Day weekend we knew it was the perfect time to pull it out and find another way to enjoy our new house.

We cooked up hotdogs and had a picnic on the grass. Afterwards we cooked our marshmallows and made smores. Absoultely delicious! We can't wait to do it again next week when Vivian is in town for Emily's preschool graduation.

Zoo

Megan, Emily and I were invited to a zoo trip with Mandy, Jake, Zach, Sarah, Kendel, Evan and Christy. (it was a Tuesday so David had to work) Megan behaved nicely for her first zoo trip and of course Emily enjoyed all the animals, with Tigers still being her favorite.

Emily got to run through her sprinkler in our backyard. She was running and jumping and having a blast. She absolutely loves playing in the water!
