Sunday Fun

Here is what we do on Sunday afternoons to have fun. We push each other in the computer chair. Each one of us got a turn being pushed and spun. And Megan really enjoyed pushing her sister.

Forts

We built a giant fort in the living room and covered the ends with blankets. We found that both Emily and Megan love to crawl through tunnels and peek out at us. The girls spent hours playing peek-a-boo and chasing each other through the fort.

Walking

Megan has learned how to walk, but that doesn't stop Emily from being her helper. Some days Megan is still wobbly...especially when she was sick. So Emily had fun keeping her balanced.

Sea World

We bought Sea World passes for Christmas. We didn't go at all during 2009 and missed the fun. So on Saturday we spent 2 hours looking at sharks and dolphins and playing in the Kids Area. The nice thing about having passes means that next time we can see the shows and we didn't have to cram everything in to one trip.

Christmas 2009

Christmas morning was very enjoyable in our house. Santa brought a car for Megan, a special coloring book for Emily, and games for the family. Megan loves pushing small cars all around the house and Emily is enjoying the special Daddy attention when playing her Princess game on the Wii. And aren't their matching jammies cute!

Emily's Dance

At our church Christmas Party on December 4th Emily got to participate in a small ballet with the other young girls in our ward. They danced to Toyland and were adorable.


It was very stressful convincing Emily that she would enjoy the performance and then to remember to actually try (she kept doing half leaps and having a pout on her face). But in the end she was a beautiful ballerina.....clumsy, but gorgeous!

Lost Teeth

On November 28th Emily lost her very first tooth! Such a big day for our big girl.
